If you’ve ever spent any time shopping on Amazon you’re probably aware of the mind-boggling selection of items you can find on there.
But if you’re like me, there are probably some things that you’d never expect to find on the equivalent of an Internet “big box” store.
Well, every now and then I like to peruse the offerings on Amazon to see what unusual (and very unexpected items) they happen to be selling at the time. Here are five that just might blow your mind:
1 – Houses
Yes, it’s true. You can literally buy a house on Amazon. And not just a “tiny house” either. In fact, this modular home comes in sizes up to 5,000 square feet.
2 – Electric bikes
You’ve probably noticed all the electric bikes there are on the roads and trails these days, but did you know can order one from Amazon? I sure didn’t. This one especially caught my eye.
3 – Vintage Topps baseball cards
I absolutely loved playing baseball as a youngster. I kept up with all the Big League stats of the day and I spent way too much money on Topps Bubble Gum just to get the baseball cards that came inside the packages.
My extensive card collection was lost years ago, but after seeing this complete set from 1970 I wish I had held on to them.
4 – Rolex watches
I’ve never had a desire to wear expensive jewelry and I certainly wasn’t looking for it on Amazon, but I was quite surprised to run across a large section of Rolex watches, including this one that costs as much as a new automobile.
5 – Rare vintage Morgan Silver Dollar coins
Rare coins have been favorites of collectors for many years, and lots of them are bought and sold at coin shows and fairs on a regular basis. But it never occurred to me that you might be able to get them on Amazon.
Well, they apparently have plenty to choose from, including this 1883 S American Silver Morgan Dollar that costs more than the homes I mentioned above.
I’m often amazed at some of the things I find on Amazon but I’m sure the items featured above are just a small sampling of what we’d find if we really went digging around.
