You probably won’t be seeing one on the road these days but back in the 1970s it seemed like they were everywhere. During that decade the Ford Pinto was one of the top-selling cars in the country.

My brother bought a shiny brand new Pinto and drove it for several years. And later, when I finally became old enough to drive, my first car was a green, heavily-used 1973 Pinto with the left rear fender missing.

Based on my own life experiences, I believe one of the most powerful tools we have for building a happy life is helping others make their own lives a little better.

It’s certainly true that a person can live their entire life being concerned about no one but himself or herself, and plenty of people do. And just by looking in from the outside, most of those people don’t seem to be all that happy.  [Read more…]

You’ll probably want cameras in your vehicle after seeing this video

If you have a vehicle what was manufactured in the last few years it might well have front and rear dash cams. If your vehicle doesn’t have them, you’ll probably want to change that after watching the short video below.

There are several reasons why it pays to have cameras documenting everything that takes place around your vehicle while you’re driving, but the man in the video would have literally been branded a felon and gone to jail if he hadn’t had them in his car.  [Read more…]
