Do you enjoy starting your mornings by drinking a steaming cup of spiced coffee?
These days you can buy coffee that’s spiced up with cinnamon, nutmeg or most any other spice you can think of.
The thing is, these spiced coffees often cost more than their non-spiced counterparts.
If you love your spiced coffee buy hate paying a premium for it, you can easily make your own right at home using the cheaper non-spiced version of your favorite brand of coffee.
All you have to do is add just a pinch of your favorite spice(s) to the coffee grounds after you place them in your coffee maker.
Of course the spices themselves aren’t cheap, but the smallest package you can buy will make literally hundreds of cups of coffee.
After all, like the old Brylcreem ads used to say, “A little dab’ll do ya!”
In addition to the cost savings, there’s another advantage to making your own spiced coffee: You can customize it to your exact taste.
For example, if you love cinnamon flavored coffee but the ones you buy at the store are too “cinnamony”, making your own will allow you to experiment and find just the perfect amount of cinnamon for your taste.
What’s more, you can combine one or more spices to create your own special blend!
Pretty simple, right?
