Some species of herding dogs are among the world’s largest canines, and they are also among the most beautiful.
Case in point: the solid white Great Pyrenees that can be seen guarding herds and flocks in many countries around the globe.
This breed has many wonderful attributes, but the one that sticks out the most is their gentle, friendly demeanor.
I know first-hand how gentle these doggie giants can be because my family shared a home with one for several years.
