As I mentioned in these posts, Country Music icon Hank Williams, Sr. wrote and and performed some of the most beloved and influential gospel songs of all time before he passed away at the young age of 29.
Hank’s legacy extends far beyond the world of Country Music, the genre for which he is best known. His work had a profound and enduring impact on gospel as well.
He performed dozens of cherished old hymns and gospel songs over the course of his short life, and today I’m featuring the timeless classic “Calling You”, one of my all-time favorite Hank Williams inspirational works.
