Every now and then we see a news report of someone being killed because they ventured too close to an active volcano. The old saying “What were they thinking?” always comes to mind every time that happens.
Volcanoes are among the most dangerous and destructive of all the Earth’s natural phenomena, but they are also among the most intriguing and beautiful as well.
Today’s video shows a fiery and quite violent eruption of Guatemala’s Fuego Volcano, and thanks to the magic of drone videography we can see it up close. It’s like actually being there but without any of the danger.
