I’m always on the lookout for handy gadgets and small appliances that will work when there’s no AC power available, and I’ve found a great one that’s sure to come in handy real soon.
It’s a 59 quart 12V refrigerator / electric cooler that plugs right into your vehicle’s 12 volt accessory port (aka cigarette lighter socket).
It also runs off 120VAC power as well. And if you have one, it will also run off one of those portable solar panels that are built for charging a power station. That gives you three great options for keeping your food and drinks cold for the long term.
You can think of this gem as a cooler that never needs ice. Just plug it in to an available power source and you’ll be all set.
The 59 quart capacity is plenty large enough to hold quite a few bottled drinks plus some food items. And of course if you use insulin or some other medication that needs to be kept refrigerated it’s perfect for that as well.
