If you have ever driven across the 17.6 mile long Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel you know it isn’t for the faint of heart, even on the prettiest of days.
Can you imagine driving across it at night, in the middle of a snow storm?
Personally, I would never attempt it unless I simply had no choice, but truth be told there are plenty of folks who would (and do).
Want proof? Just check out the video below that was captured by a brave soul who decided to cross the Chesapeake on one of the worst winter nights of the year.
If you look carefully, at times you’ll see the waves on the Chesapeake Bay really churning something fierce just a few short feet the bridge.
Again, not for the faint of heart.
