“The past is a place of reference, not a place of residence; the past is a place of learning, not a place of living.”
-–Roy T. Bennett
As humans, well all make mistakes and suffer great loss on occasion. It’s just a part of life.
It’s easy to fall into the trap of dwelling on the bad times and forgetting that tomorrow will begin with the dawning of a new day.
No, we should not forget about our past mistakes. Indeed, we should learn from them.
And loved ones who have passed on should never be forgotten. They should be remembered always, with fondness and enduring love.
Our past experiences help shape who we are, but they should never define us.
Today is a wonderful gift. Tomorrow is a bottomless basket, full of hope. Always look forward because the path that lies ahead is so much more important than the one you have left behind.
To finish up, here’s a fantastic short video that just might help you find (and ultimately follow) your own path that will lead to a happy tomorrow. Check it out…
