Every now and then a song will come on the radio that reminds me of my youth, and that happened yet again today.
One of the first songs I remember hearing when I was a small child is “Rhythm of the Rain” by a group called The Cascades.
This song was on the radio virtually non-stop back in the day and I quickly learned to love it, even though my young mind had no clue what the song was about. I just knew I loved the tune, the music and the sound of the singers’ voices – and the thunderclap was a nice touch as well.
If you’re my age or older you have surely heard this classic many times. If not, here’s your chance to hear it for the very first time. Listen, and enjoy.
