This isn’t a sales pitch for Harbor Freight. They didn’t pay me to publish this. In fact, they didn’t even know I was going to do it. I’m simply a frequent Harbor Freight customer who loves shopping there. Nothing more.

Do you enjoy shopping for tools and related items at Harbor Freight? Not everyone is a fan, but I’ve been shopping there for years and I absolutely love them.
There are several secrets to getting the most for your money at Harbor Freight, but the best of the lot is the Inside Track Club (ITC).
ITC members automatically save anywhere from 20% to 30% on virtually every item in the store (on a rotating basis), and in some cases even more. The items that qualify for the ITC discount change from week to week but you can almost always find something you’re looking for that qualifies.
These special ITC prices aren’t hidden from the public. Anyone can view them right on the Harbor Freight website at any time by clicking the Members Only Deals link at the top of the page.
Sounds pretty awesome, right? Well, it is!
An ITC membership costs $29.99 per year and it’s worth every penny (in my humble opinion). You can easily recoup that investment after just a few small purchases – or even just one large purchase. And on some purchases you can save two or three times what you paid for your membership.

Now, let’s say you aren’t a current ITC member and you walk into your local Harbor Freight store looking for a bench grinder. If you end up buying the Hercules 8 inch grinder shown above you could essentially join the Inside Track Club on the spot for free since the $30 you’d save on the grinder would fully cover the cost of the membership.
But wait, there’s more…
Let’s say you’re looking for a floor jack instead of a grinder. Check out this screenshot:
If you were to purchase the jack shown on the left you would save enough right on the spot to get your ITC membership for free AND save another $30 off what a non-member would pay for the same jack! In other words, $30 of your $60 instant savings would pay for the membership and the other $30 would stay in your pocket!
In case you’re wondering, the regular prices you’re seeing above aren’t temporarily inflated to make the discounted prices appear to be better deals than they really are. Those really are the prices non-ITC members would pay for those items every day. The savings are real.
