When you think about snow skiing places like Aspen, Colorado or Killington, Vermont probably come to mind.
But did you know that you can actually ski on real, nature-made snow in Hawaii? Well, you can. And plenty of people do.
Hawaii is one of the few places on Earth where you can go from sea level to approximately 14,000 feet in a very short period of time, and as you might imagine you’ll often find snow at 14,000 feet, even in sub-tropical regions.
Here’s a fantastic short video that shows a couple of guys enjoying a bit of snow skiing on Hawaii’s Mauna Kea. Watch and enjoy!
