The tulip has always been one of my favorite flowers thanks to their colorful and perfectly shaped blossoms, and I have always known that Holland is notorious for its many large and very colorful tulip fields.
What I didn’t know until recently is the U.S. has its very own Holland, complete with its very own fields and colorful patches of tulips. They even have their very own authentic Dutch windmill.
Well, it turns out that the city of Holland and the surrounding areas host a tulip festival every spring to celebrate the community’s rich Dutch heritage. This popular festival is called “Tulip Time”, and in spring 2026 Tulip Time will be from May 1-10.
