As you probably know, California’s Death Valley is one of the most inhospitable places on the entire surface of our planet.
The area’s extreme heat combined with the virtual non-existence of water has claimed the lives of numerous people over the years.

To put it bluntly, Death Valley is hot. And not just hot, it’s extremely hot. In fact, the highest confirmed natural air temperature ever recorded anywhere in the world was recorded there.
