I recently received an email from a man who was having difficulty with the remote control to his garage door. In a nutshell, the remote would only operate the door if his car was sitting directly in front of the garage.

My first thought was the battery in the remote was probably weak and needed to be replaced, but he told me he had already tried changing the battery and it didn’t help.  [Read more…]
