In a nutshell, passive income is money that you earn even when you aren’t actively “working” to earn it.
While it’s rarely like the old saying “Making money while you sleep“, it can be pretty close to that with the right plan and a willingness to prepare.
Simply put, passive income can literally change your life.
Regular readers of this blog know I’m fascinated by the many types and styles of tiny houses that dot the landscape nowadays.
There are countless factory-built ‘cookie cutter’ style tiny houses out there, but the ones I like best are the self-designed and self-built tiny homes that so many people are building these days.

Back in pre-Internet days if you needed to research something you probably headed to the library and pored through stacks of encyclopedias, magazines and various other printed materials looking for the info you needed.
Needless to say, doing research that “old-fashioned” way was quite tedious and time-consuming.
But in today’s connected world we can research most any topic or current event with just a quick Google search.
Chances are you know someone who never seems to show up on time.
Whether it’s a business meeting, a college class, a church service or a doctor appointment, they always seem to arrive five minutes after things have already gotten started.
The purpose of this post isn’t to chastise those folks. Some of the people I most admire and some of the most successful people I know have issues with punctuality.
But that being said, I believe it’s best to always strive to be on time. And truth be told, being a little early is even better.
