Dogs tend to be happy creatures by nature, but I believe the happiest of all are shelter dogs who are lucky enough to be adopted into a loving home.
Funding and personnel shortages result in many shelter dogs ending up being euthanized instead of adopted, and that’s a real shame.

I have always been fascinated by the special bonds that often form between kids and their pets.
Love is a powerful thing indeed, especially when innocent children and animals are involved.
And it’s a wonderful thing to witness.
Everyone knows that dogs make great companions for other dogs.
And on occasion, we hear about a dog and a cat that get along famously as very best friends.
