Now imagine your surprise when you get close enough to see that the person making that music is a young boy.

I’m pretty sure Mr. King wasn’t referring to old pianos when he uttered that famous quote, but I think it’s fairly appropriate in reference to today’s video.
Regular readers know I always feature a video at the end of every post I publish on this blog.
Some of those videos are inspirational and some are (hopefully) educational.
But every now and then I love posting one just because it’s fun to watch.
Have you ever seen a complete stranger sit down at a public piano and start just start playing, without saying so much as a word?
If so, it probably didn’t take long for a crowd to gather and start watching and listening to the music.
These situations can be really special if the impromptu performer has lots of talent. And if he/she is a child, it is even more special. [Read more…]
As a music lover I really enjoy watching someone spontaneously start to play an instrument in a place where I’m not expecting to see it.
And it’s even better when the surprise musician is an extremely talented child.
Lots of public places have a piano available for passers-by to play, but who would have thought you’d ever see something like this at Costco?
