As the earth spins on its axis, half of the planet’s surface is always facing the sun (day) while the other half is dark (night).
This line where day and night meet is called the terminator, and it’s quite interesting indeed.

I’m sure you’re well aware of the fact that food items will spoil or go bad after a certain amount of time has passed.
But did you know honey won’t spoil or otherwise “go bad”?
Well, it won’t. Ever.

Ask any 5th grader what year the Civil War ended and you’ll likely be told 1865 – that’s roughly 150 years ago.
Ask any American of any age when the last Civil War-era pensioner passed away and they’ll likely guess some time around the mid-1900s.
But guess what? They would be wrong. In fact, they would be very wrong.
Have you ever looked at a massive structure and simply marveled at the hard work and steely nerves that must have been required to build it.
San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge is one such structure.
