If you have been following my posts for a while you know I’m a huge fan of both the night sky and America’s desert southwest. The awesome time-lapse video below showcases the beauty of both.

There’s some disagreement about whether this famous quote really originated with John Lennon.

While the Internet has numerous sources attributing these words to him, no one seems to be able to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

Thunderstorms are among the most intriguing phenomena in all of nature. While they can be extremely dangerous in multiple ways, they can also be incredibly beautiful and awe inspiring.

The U.S. state of Utah is famous for it’s incredible scenic beauty and interesting geological features.

One of the most scenic attractions in all of Utah is Reflection Canyon, an off-shoot of Lake Powell consisting of snake-like bends in the Colorado River and exquisitely colorful canyon walls.
