We Americans often take the gift of freedom that we all enjoy for granted, never giving much thought to what was required in order to attain it and keep it.

It’s often said that “freedom isn’t free“, and that’s definitely true. Freedom had to be purchased, and keeping it requires a recurring payment that must be made on a continuous basis.

I have come to believe that few among us have a clear understanding of the sheer magnitude of that enormous cost.  [Read more…]

This is why so many barns are painted red

And if you pay attention, you’ll probably notice that almost every barn that’s painted will be red!

Video: GoPro Best of 2021 – Year in Review

As you probably know, the GoPro brand has become virtually synonymous with extreme sports in recent years.

If it’s a sport that’s fast-paced and inherently dangerous, there will probably be lots of GoPro cameras on hand to capture the action.
