Life is short - begin every day with a smile!
As a youngster, I really loved the game of baseball.
I could rattle off all manner of obscure stats about the leading Major League players, and I could name all the players on my favorite teams, right down to the rarely-seen bench warmers.
In fact, I could even name even quite a few of the hopefuls that were working their way up through the Minors.

Regular readers of this blog will remember watching in amazement as Scottish daredevil Danny MacAskill rode the famous rooftops of Gran Canaria and then went Ever Higher.
Danny’s combination of incredible skill and rock-solid nerves are on full display in every video he makes.

He really showed me something. Struck out three times. Made an error that lost the game. Parents were throwing things at our car and swearing at us as we drove off.

If you’re a student of American History you’re well aware of how Presidents John Adams and Thomas Jefferson helped create our wonderful nation and set it on the path to freedom.
After helping form the new country known as the United States of America, Adams and Jefferson both went on to serve as its president.
