“Fiddlin’ Carson Peters” switches several gears to take on “The Voice”

Like many from my local area, I had the pleasure of watching Carson Peters grow up singing and playing his trademark sizzling fiddle.

The first time I saw this young man perform was in nearby Bristol, Virginia on the stage of a local Bluegrass Music show called The Pickin’ Porch.

He was all of 8 years old, but he played that fiddle like he was already a seasoned veteran – and in a very real way, he was.

You know the ones I’m thinking about…

A car guy walks you around his lot, excitedly screaming about all the awesome deals you can get, but only if you shop at his dealership!

Nah, I don’t really care for those over-the-top kinds of ads either.

But here’s a knock-off of those irritating car commercials that’ll probably put a smile on your face.

Does Publishers Clearing House really give away all that money? How can they afford it?

I received an email the other day from someone asking about the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes ads we’re always seeing on TV.

Concise and to the point, she asked these two questions:

1 – Are the Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes legit?

2 – If so, where do they get all that money to pay the Sweepstakes winners?

Those are great questions, and truth be told, I used to wonder about that as well so I did some research into how it all works.
