Today, Google (along with parent company Alphabet) is worth approximately $2 trillion, but back in 1999 Google’s founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin offered to sell the company for just $750,000, which is mere pocket change compared to the company’s current value.
Page and Brin made that mind-blowing offer to Excite CEO George Bell, who carefully considered it but ultimately decided to pass on the deal.

If you’re a long-time Country Music fan you’re likely well familiar with the work of the late Glen Campbell.
After all, his incredible voice has been gracing the airwaves of Country radio for decades.
But what you might not know about Glen is that he was a true master of the guitar.
My dad loved playing his guitar and singing, and I have many wonderful memories of him performing for an audience of one.
Although he mostly played classic country and gospel, he could play just about anything he heard on the radio.
One of his absolute favorites was “Wildwood Flower” by the Carter Family.

Our planet is a huge and fascinating place that’s home to roughly 8 billion people.
But as you know, all of those people are scattered around the globe in areas that vary greatly in population.
For example, there are vast areas of wilderness like the US state of Alaska that are extremely sparsely populated, while places like Tokyo have people tightly packed into dense cities.
