I’m sure you’ve probably seen awesome images of colorful auroras dancing in the air above our planet’s North and South Poles.

The northern auroras are called Aurora Borealis (aka Northern Lights).

The ones over the South Pole are called Aurora Australis (aka Southern Lights).

We earthlings have been marveling at the beauty of our planet’s dancing auroras for millennia, but did you know that some of the other planets in our solar system have them as well?

Although the entire country of Japan is smaller than the U.S. state of California, it’s capitol city Tokyo is the most populous city on planet earth.

And several other Japanese cities are rather large as well.

But even with all of those people packed in so close to one another, Japan still has room for plenty of amazing natural scenery.

If you have never had the opportunity to take a drive through New England when the fall colors were at their absolute peak, you’re really missing out on one of life’s most enjoyable simple pleasures.

Of course a New England “Leaf Peeping” vacation isn’t in the cards for everyone, but thanks to the Internet everyone can still enjoy a drive through rural Vermont to witness the incredible autumn beauty of this little corner of the world.
