A while back I featured this video of mandolin prodigy Sierra Hull performing at the ripe old age 11 on the “Grand Ole Opry” with Allison Krauss & Union Station.

As you might expect, that video was quite well received by most everyone that saw it.

Well, I managed to find another awesome video of a young Sierra teaming up with another of her musical idols, the one and only Sam Bush.

Did you hear about the terrible blizzard that struck Hawaii back in 2021?

No, I didn’t horribly misspell North Dakota, Minnesota or Alaska. I really did mean Hawaii.

As I mentioned in this post, the big island of Hawaii receives snow on its two highest volcanic peaks every winter, and the winter of 2021-2022 turned out to be quite a doozy.

New York City’s iconic Empire State Building was the tallest building in the world after its completion on April 11, 1931.

There were other “skyscrapers” at that time, but the Empire State Building was the crown jewel of its day because it was the only building on Earth that had at least 100 floors.

I’m sure you’ve probably seen awesome images of colorful auroras dancing in the air above our planet’s North and South Poles.

The northern auroras are called Aurora Borealis (aka Northern Lights).

The ones over the South Pole are called Aurora Australis (aka Southern Lights).

We earthlings have been marveling at the beauty of our planet’s dancing auroras for millennia, but did you know that some of the other planets in our solar system have them as well?
